Hi, the felt on the summerhouse roof has either shrunk or the previous tennets/owner thought you didn't need to put felt to the bottom edge. From the picture what are my options? I was looking at either flashband, liquid rubber with a primer or bitumen paint. also to make it look nice afterwards should i put a new bit of wood back up to cover it like there is currently on the left hand side of picture? thanks

Covering with wood will cause the water to pool at the bottom, as it flows down the roof, and rot the wood; better to cut strip of felt say 300mm wide and tuck one (long) side under the existing covering, and the other under base of roof, fixing with clout head nails.

Or re-felt the whole roof if the condition justifies it.

Blup
