My father in law has just bought a newhouse

The toilet was needing done up
After ripping out all the boxing in and the tiles we ripped up the carpet

Noticed something funny with the flooring, the shower tray looked to be cut into it

So after trying to prise the tray up for about an hour I finally got it out

Someone's went to a lot to trouble and a bit of unethical joinering

Joists cut out, theres a drop down cradle for a plywood sheet to sit on which has the shower tray legs bolted to
The guy must've had a 2c long screwdriver to get some of the screws put in!
