Came across this incommer yesterday.

Ze was 0.23 ohms

It is a split con feeder, with both neutral and earth connected into what appears to be a CNE terminal.

What do you reckon?

TN-S-C-S?

It is a PME type TNCS supply.

That was very brave of you to dismantle your Live service fuse unit!

It's certainly not conventional PME.

That must break guidelines...

Look more carefully.

The cable is split-con. The brass block to which the neutral & earth are connected is one piece...

If it were true PME, it would have straight con cable feeding the cut-out.

If it were true TN-S, there would be two separate brass blocks for E & N.

As Ban suggests, the only thing I can think of is that they have spliced into a PME feed but only had split-con on the van, so they've doubled up the N & E.... But it's wrong, isn't it?

Can I? Thanks!!
