All I can say here is that the products from FirstLine that I have used have been poor.......as mentioned, that includes drop links failing at around 8 months and CV joint boots splitting just months after fitting - now that was a chore!
I've no idea what the product range is and I may be doing them a huge injustice but I now specify other makes........Blueprint / Febi Bilstein if possible. My local motor factor seems to have reduced his range of FirstLine products but that could just be down to economics.

A happy end to my little problem. After a couple of mails to and fro, the English garage refunded both parts and labour charge (£ 73 ), without asking me to send them the faulty drop-link ( although he did ask for a photo which showed nothing untoward ). Very decent I think.

That restores faith in our garages for sure - at least some of them!
