Because when I go to the shed early in the morning to get my fishing stuff out I can't see to get the keys in the locks. A PIR will come on as I approach the shed hopefully.
Yeah you could fit the bulkhead light with PIR in the downstairs toilet I guess
I thought you were talking about trying the LED lamp to see if it worked, and how that would be a waste if it didn't.

Yeah, everyone seemed to have missed that the OP hadn't bought the luminiere yet. The only review that mentioned leds said that the purchaser had modified the luminiere and put more than one led lamp in parallel and that this worked ok. This didn't sound like a major endorsement of the use of an led lamp to me.
