Swimming pool conversion

Hi,
Can anyone give any advice on how to fill in an indoor swimming pool so that I can make an annex out of the pool room for my inlaw's? It was built sometime in the 1970's.

Steels across the top and build up from that. Turn the pool into a basement,* at least you know it won't get damp!

*After you've emptied it!
