Hi, we have an in-ground pool which we have just opened. The filtration system is working fine, the boiler fires up but the separate heat exchanger is cold. The pipes into it at the top and bottom are hot, I've bled it until the water comes out hot, but still it remains cold. It only gets hot when everything is turned off. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It may be blocked, air locked, pump issue, circulation issue, etc. I'd suggest it's time to get an engineer in that knows what he's up to.
