I am upgrading my Ideal Classic FF380 boiler to a sealed system. Ideal say it's ok for 3bar operation and has high temp. protection, but I wish to give it a low water pressure protection also, as a modern boiler would have this built-in.
Where can I find a 0.5bar pressure switch?
Also, comments welcome.

Go to any boiler spares merchant and ask for a water pressure switch off a Ferroli Modena/Domina or an Ariston EuroCombi SX29MFFICE. They use the CEME pressure switches and are more reliable than the other common pressure switch made by SIT.

They are normally adjustable but preset to around 0.7 Bar...use a 1/4 female coupling. Many modern boilers don't actually have a pressure switch. Letting owners run the boiler with zero pressure helps pump sales revenue. :)
