Hi, I have recently moved into my property and will be tiling the kitchen in the next few weeks. At the same time i want to change the sockets and switches in the kitchen. I have no experience with electrics and will be using help whilst doing them but my problem at the moment is finding a replacement switch. There is a switch that has the fridge and extractor fan on shown in the image, but I have looked on many sites and instore for a metal replacement for this and cannot find anything similar. Does anyone know of a company that sells these or an alternative that can be used.
The fridge switch never gets turned off so if it is possible to move it easily then that could be an option.

Thanks in advance.

Search around for grid switches, as thats what these are. You can get them off the shelf with standard labels.

You also need a yoke and a faceplate to match with grid systems.

There are plenty about and would depend on the type of look you were after, the accessory shown is a grid plate accessory with engraved modules.
A quick google and a browse through these pages should come up with what you desire. grid switches
also a trip to your nearest electrical wholesalers would not go amiss.

Not sure what is meant by this statement, it would be unwise not to have a point of isolation for the fridge and why would you want to move the location of it?

thanks for the replies.
I am looking for probably stainless steel, I have been to Homebase and Wickes today and i couldnt find any grid switches (even white) in either. Will have to check out local screwfix probably more luck there.

I have found these online

The switch is 'mini grid' would that fit in the plate I have posted or no?

No, the 22691 jpg switch insert is screwed to plate, the plate you linked uses clip in modules/inserts.

Never seen superstores selling the wide range of fittings manufacturors make.
Online or electrical wholeseller is your best bet, online for cheapest unless you or a friend have an account with a wholeseller.

Sorry if these are stupid questions never done this before

Also someone mentioned I would need a yoke. If I'm only replacing the face and switches can I use the one that is currently on the old switch?

Yes

ok i went into an electrical suply shop on my local industrial estate and they dont do grid switches so my best bet is online.
A quick question before I buy, are the electrics the same in a mini grid as in a normal grid that I currently have?
dont want to buy it if the electrics need to be completely re done.
