I would like to replace an exisiting spur as mentioned with one with a USB C (USB A would suffice). I did find a company that had an out of stock one but now can't find them.

Has anyone got an idea as to where to find such a thing? I've been googling loads

There are plenty with a cable outlet - either a hole on the faceplate or along the bottom thickness - but I can't think why there would be any with a USB port.

I've seen one with a USB port but it was out of stock. Where my spur is the only other electric is the ceiling light and I want a USB port. The current option is a long extension cable going down a flight of stairs into a bathroom

I assume you want a USB charging port, not one for data.

Why not install a flush mounted USB charger next to the existing spur, connected to its supply?

USB is for charging only.

You will all just have to trust me as to why the best option for a USB outlet in the bathroom is a switched fused spur with one.

So, I take it no one has ever seen such a thing?

Without understanding your reasoning, or non-functional requirements, there's no way of knowing if that is the best option.

Which bathroom zone would it be in?

So, the first image shows the part of the bathroom where the spur is, on the boxing below and to the right of the combi. This would be an ideal location for a USB port.
Image 02 shows what would be a great place for a shaver socket. Why would I not just put one there? One with USB? It seems simple enough. And who wouldn't want a light and a shaver socket above their bathroom mirror?
Image 03 is to give a better idea of the bathroom layout
Image 04 shows the hatch to the attic roof above the bathroom
Image Attic shows the massive old water tank preventing access to the area above the sink/mirror.

If anybody is thinking about commenting on the ceiling light fitting being wonky then yes, I know.

So the spur is currently in zone 3.

Has no one got any suggestions as to where to put a USB port or two then? No one at all got any bright ideas?

It's your house and up to you (within the rules).

I would put it by the boiler FCU (the cable is the spur) to make use of the existing supply and the table for whatever it is you wish to charge.

Surely over the basin would not be ideal.

Edit - or run the wire from the FCU to nearer the window.

Final ask: has anyone ever seen a switched fused spur with a flex outlet and a USB socket.

I am sure I have seen one on a website but it was out of stock and now I can't find the website. It might not have had a cable outlet. But it was a switched fused spur with a USB socket.

Never seen one as a single unit.

You could build one out of euro modules but it would need a double backbox.
