Well before I bought the house the workshop manager for the Llanfair Welshpool railway lived here and there was steam trains that went around the house and through the garage, still find the odd plastic sleeper around, there was a tunnel under the steps down to house which the train went through. The house colour is same as the railway colours, but told actually the railway used his paint not the other way around.
