I opened my Optima G4 panel without engineer code and now have a red flashing tamper, Ive pressed reset and still the light remains. The panel is firming closed so not sure what the issue is. Any solutions?

Try enter code then press reset?
Open panel lid hold tamper spring in and try to reset if ok lid not on correctly?
If still fault put wire link between tamper terminals on panel. Then try to reset if resets ok then fault on tamper circuit(sensor cover on pir)
How old is the battery ?

I will try what you have advised. The only part I'm unsure about is "put wire link between tamper terminal on panel" sorry I didn't install it so I'm not sure what you mean. I'm pretty sure when I opened it the black wire leading to battery with in between Spring. Can't say for sure. The battery is several months old. I am thinking that it may need an engineer code to reset panel tamper but I don't no and I don't have it. Thank you

I have found a little sliver metal hook where would this go, there is already one between PA + and Temp - I've called the engineers out but thank you
