Tap tails

I have bought a new tap for the kitchen sink, the tails on it are standard tap size on the tap end, on the other end the tightening nut is smaller than those on the 15mm valve fitted to the end of the pipe run. Im pretty sure in my upstairs bathroom i have the tap tails connected directly to the valve.

Can i get a converter or should i get a different flexi hose?

european spec flexis 3/8'' rather than our 1/2''.
i useally just fit new flexis with the 1/2 nut.
