How many times does it have to be repeated - when you cannot grow the economy then how do you absorb inflation - this can be inflation imported from abroad from imports or it can be internal inflation due to costs rising or demand rising - prime example low house building and increasing demand for homes.

To be fair; that was only accomplished after the British and American air forces had demolished the industrial infrastructure, then the Russians had rolled over the rest with their armoured divisions.
Japan had a similar economic recovery, so i suppose the moral is, flatten everything and rebuild using modern materials.

To be fair; that was only accomplished after the British and American air forces had demolished the industrial infrastructure, then the Russians had rolled over the rest with their armoured divisions.
Japan had a similar economic recovery, so i suppose the moral is, flatten everything and rebuild using modern materials.

Much of Eastern Europe was also destroyed. But did not have a miraculous recovery. Until after 1990.

1930's US and UK did not suffer a war.

So destruction is not the solution.
