Hi, i was wondering if someone can help.

My engineer is out of the country on holiday and i have a sofa being delivered on thursday but i'm worried it won't fit through the patio doors unless i remove the door handle and alarm shock sensor.

With the alarm not set can i just open the shock sensor up and remove it from the door and then refit it or do i have to do something with the panel first?

I only have the user manual which doesn't cover this.

Thank you.

Here is my panel and shock sensor

Yes you can remove sensor
Take cover off carefully
Unscrew fixings, caution tamper screw could be fitted on back plate ?
Replace cover on sensor and reset with customer code
If tamper fault afterwards check lid is correctly

Thank you very much for the reply.

I unscrewed it and got a panel siren as soon as i removed the cover,
Then a screw needs to be removed to take out the circuit board before revealing the fixings,
The circuit board also has a second tamper device but it didn't affect anything extra,
I've then put it all back together and placed it on a windowsill to make the rear tamper switch,
And reset with customer code.

Thank you very kindly @Handymanjo i truly appreciate you giving your personal time up to reply.
