Tension on front door lock

My composite front door has a Winkhaus AV3 lock. This is the type of lock that you simply close shut without a key and it engages all the multi point locking. Everything was fine with it up until I needed to share a key with some trades so I temporarily changed out the euro barrel lock for another one. When I changed the lock over I did notice that the latch needed more force to close (i.e. the tension on the latch was a lot more). However, didn't think much of it as I thought it was due to the temporary euro barrel I used. When I switched back to the original barrel, the extra force is still required.

Is there some tension setting that I need to adjust? It's definitely not as it was before and I'm worried that the extra force is causing additional wear and tear on the door frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The latch is supposed to be the only thing in contact and the hooks are "floating" as it were so you may have contact with the hooks on the frame.
This site has a troubleshooting guide among others that you can download....

I have confirmed, the latch is the only thing in contact when the door is being closed. The hooks are fully recessed. Any other suggestions?
