I would think there are still loads in use, I remember the 110 volt version of the Reyrolle plugs with two fuses built into the pins, it mean the 110 volt could be run around the site as a ring final in the same way as the 13A plug we use today, to replace you also needed a 16A double pole MCB, so they have in many places remained often with converter leads.
