Texecom - 2 Wire Smoke

Hi,

Installed a 2 wire smoke detector on my PE48, but how can I stop the outside siren triggering when the smoke detects?

I want it to be internal only. I did find a timer for "Fire bell delay" but this doesn't seem to work.

PE48, latest firmware.

2 wire, don’t see many wiring them, didn’t know that still worked to be fair.

We don’t recommend smokes on intruder mainly because that don’t necessarily comply with regulations one way or another.

Had a look at the manual and nothing jumped out at me, but can’t even test this out.

However you could wire the bell trigger to an output and look at programming the bell, to trigger or not under certain conditions. You have to however have to get it to stop after 15 minutes.
