Texecom adding wireless keypad or sounder

I've got a Texecom Premier Elite 24 with a wired keypad on the ground floor. However, there's been a few times at night when the robot vac has caused the alarm to go off and the keypad siren is not loud enough to be heard in the bedroom. The outside siren is probably really loud for the neighbours but you can barely hear it inside the house.

What's the best way to get some internal siren/speaker inside the bedroom space without running cables? I thought an additional wireless keypad would do the job right? Is this easy to add to an existing system?

Hmm the robot vac triggering the alarm is a concern, what sensors you using.

As for wireless keypad you would need a wireless expander, however if you have hard wired expanders already there may not be space for a wireless one on your system

I think they're standard PIR sensors. However, the main issue is that the house alarm going off at night isn't loud enough in the bedroom. However, it is loud enough to annoy the neighbours as the external bell box projects the sound in a way that just isn't heard in the bedroom.

Hmmm sounds a lot more complicated than I thought. Thought adding a wireless keypad to the system would be as simple as adding a smartphone to a WiFi network but clearly not the case.

Is there a wireless indoor siren that would make it any easier?

You're approaching this from the wrong angle, sort the issues of the alarm going off, not make sure you can be woken up if it does!.
Because no one will take a blind bit of notice, when you want them too, if it activates regularly.

I believe it is using 12 zones. Yes, I have the engineer code.

If you have the engineer code you can confirm how many zones you are using, if you have a wireless expander fitted etc, and a plethora of other things relating to the system, as long as you know what you're doing/looking for-you can also seriously muck stuff up if you dont!

The panel will support a maximum of 24 zones, the panel has 8 zones on-board, to use more zones you fit an 8 zone expander, expander 1 will give you zones 9-16, expander 2 will give you zones 17-24.
If you want to incorporate wireless devices you can fit an expander that will allow wireless devices to be connected.
