Texecom ComIP setup help

Hi all,

I have a Texecom Premier Elite 48 panel with Ricochet expander. I have a ComIP installed in the panel but cant work out how to connect to it.

I have setup from the keypad the UDL options for COM1 port to be the ComIP. I have setup IP Data to assign a IP address based on my router settings. When I change the settings from the keypad when do they take effect on the ComIP hardware? How does it reset itself with the new IP address I have assigned through the keypad and UDL options?

I have also tried connecting the ethernet cable directly to my laptop instead of router but still no luck.

Help appreciated.

Can you advised on the panel version and what you are using the com ip for.
