Texecom Connect panels can be upgraded remotely if you have access to Texecom cloud services
If you don't then flashing the panel firmware will require a Premier Elite Flasher and a usb com lead.
The smart com can be updated by the same cloud service, or via the app by entering the engineers code into the app and clicking on the icon to check the smart coms version.
Texecom Cloud Services are only available to installers, they could be offered to the diy market via an annual subscription by installers.
As the process isn't automated, it is likely that updates would be once a year and extra updates to ve charged as a separate fee.
Currently installers have to pay an annual fee for access to the TCS and additional fees per alarm system.
Remote upgrades are only available for Premier Elites Version 5 and above with version 2 smart coms.
I would expect charges to be of a similar price range of the Pyronix annual subscription.
