Texecom Exit Error

try covering zone 1 pir up set it as normal see if it arms or link zone 1 out you are going to make a bit of racket either way ? or by any chance is it above any sort of radiator or heat source ? i had that in the past years ? vents also
has it ever worked and is zone 1 defo your exit and entry when programing the panel ??

yes it has worked but only if zone 1 ( exit/entry) is not open/active when alarm is set. zone 1 is entry/exit.
man is coming over this week to change the mode from entry to timed...
 
Or ask him to do the job correctly and to contact the front door.
 
Hi, does this mean having a sensor on the front door? can he not just change to timed exit of say 30seconds?

You should get it done properly!

You can change the programming of the PIR zone to e/e and the arming mode to timed and that should get rid of your issue, but find it hard to believe a pro wouldn't have changed it to that after the home owner refused to have a contact on the door for what ever reason so at least it would have worked.
