Have installed a GSM com unit into a Texecom premier 24 panel and am having an issue with it signalling out on an alarm condition. Sending it an sms for status returns an sms with the alarm status just fine (armed/disarmed), but it won't send out a SMS on an alarm condition. The ARC1 settings including a primary and secondary contact number.

Do the ARC numbers need to be in the +4479xxx format or is 079xxx ok?

But your not sending to ARC`s are you.
ARC = Alarm Recieving Centre.

Recheck your settings and disable or wipe the ARC numbers.

Right check Reports, make sure the areas used are listed.
Then under report make sure 3 and 7 are showing

Thats nothing to do with it as he is doing a status report(texting the gsm unit) NOT alarm conditions/ activations
But you admit the unit is responding.

Still awaiting your real answer :D

However What is set up in reporting as asked before?
