Texecom Premier 24 Battery Fault

Remove battery, switch mains of, turn back on, add battery and reset the system to clear the fault.

Cheers. (y) I've just pulled the fuse inside the box, no alarm went off until one of the battery leads was disconnected which confirmed that the new battery was powering the system. Refitted the cover, cleared the fault from the panel and all good. So far! Just got to figure out how to set the time and date!

You can do at a push BUT this will depend on what the battery test time is set at , it may have been set to 0 in which case it won't test the battery or it could have it turned off in monitor hardware
Much better to replace every 5 years

Every 4/5 yrs unless found to be faulty in the mean time.

Don't forget to date them when installing

I've just checked and its set at 24 hours and 10 seconds duration, so does the Texecom panel test the battery like one of the 'proper' battery testers then like an installer will have?
