Morning all,
Would appreciate some assistance/support please.
I have a Texecom alarm system with SmartCom and, for the life of me, I cannot get the SmartCom to connect to my TP-Link Deco mesh network.
The system was previously connected and working perfectly fine, however I must have changed a setting on the Deco at some point and it has since stopped working. The strange thing is that I never received any alert or fault on the alarm panel, so I am not actually sure when it stopped communicating.
I have tried changing various settings, including:
-2.4GHz only
-Creating a guest network
-Connecting via the IoT network
-Rebooting both the Deco system and SmartCom
The Deco is working perfectly fine for every other device in the house. The SmartCom attempts to connect to the network but never gets to a solid blue light.
The SmartCom itself is fine, as I connected it to a mobile hotspot and it connected straight away without any issues.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and found a way around it? I am convinced it is a setting within the Deco, but I cannot work out what it is.
Thank you
