Just replaced a 17 year old R8 Panel with a new one, all connections wired as previous board. Internal and external sounders work and all sensors work on walk test. 7 zones used, 1 is entry (hall), 2-6 are guard and 7 is landing. Link fitted to board for zone 8.
On full set first zone we hit on entry is Zone 1 and RKP is in zone 1.
On part set we pass through 7 (Which I want to omit on part set) and hit the entry zone 1 coming down the stairs to the RKP.
From factory setting programme coding is as follows:
00, 01, 02, 03 04, 05, 08 - no changes RKP as received from factory and connected before power up.
11-18 Zone 1 as entry 116 prog, Zone 2 - 8 as guard 123 - 183
25040119 and 26193000 - Date and time entered.
Set timers
3150, 3220, 3345,3445, 3510, 3601
50 - shows all zones lit
51 - shows all but zone 7 lit
52 - shows all but zone 7 lit
User and Engineer Codes changed and new codes check as valid.
Full set works fine.
On Part set it sets and moving into Z7 doesn't cause an alarm. When entering zone 1 there is no entry tone from the RKP but the speaker in the panel clicks for a period (not timed it) and then 5 or so beeps from the RKP just before the alarm goes off.
How do I set it so the warning from the RKP starts at the same time as the clicking from the speaker (which is what the old one did)?
