textured emulsion

got a ceiling painted with textured emul. & painted years later with vinyl silk emultion.it looks crap so decided to skim ,painted ceiling with gyproc bond-it and skimed with multi finish but its going to need seond coat so how long do i wait to apply second coat?

Straight away. If it's gone hard then you'll need two fresh coats.

When you put the first coat on, wash the kit, when the 1st coat is firming up mix up the 2nd coat a bit thinner and get it on.
You will have to start again, dont forget to seal the ceiling first.

well its on now hope it stops on ceiling ,prob. wake up tomorrow covered in plaster
