plaster for skimming ceiling (textured)

Ive got a textured ceiling that ive scraped all the high spots off to get the surface as flat as possible

Next task is to skim it.

Is multi finish suitable to do both skim coats in this situation?

p.s before scraping the textured stuff off i had some samples tested to determine that it was definatley asbestos free

If the texture is not too deep a couple of coats of multi should do it...otherwise a tight coat of bonding to straighten...mind the pva.
