That is an analogy how they are looked upon by who ever would shoot one. I meant it in a way to show that their job was dangerous by doing what they do. Oddly enough they sometimes lie and make things into a drama to sell papers and obtain awards.

An apt analogy since Gaza is the largest open air prison in the world.
Although journalists there are more akin to reporters uncovering widespread systematic abuse.

Hull was a city of culture winner. It isn't as bad as some say but it's pretty much turning grim. I have seen nicer places to live but it had a reputation of being the worst place to live in the UK. I wouldn't like to live there myself but I do frequently go through it.
I have relatives by marriage who live in Hull. Always had a great time and some of the friendliest people. (Some scrotes as well mind). It has a bad rep but I have been to worse places.
