The Far-right Delusion

Really - is that it - is that all you got--- did you walk there from the UK - hypocrite. Sums up the climate scam.
Hypocrite? Why?
Pointing out your inability to understand basic science, makes me a hypocrite? How?

Not only are you the forums hypocrite you are also the forums squirming worm - well done - stupid on two levels.

water vapour are far more involved in climate change
I am sorry Aveatry but that is factually incorrect

Water vapour is a greenhouse gas, but it is a condensible material, as it cools it turns to water droplets, water is rapidly cycled in and out of our atmosphere, therefore, Water vapour has a short atmospheric residence time,

Carbon dioxide on the other hand is non condensible as it turns to liquid at a lower temp than the earths atmosphere. CO2 just stays up there, inhibiting the flow of heat energy from Earth's surface to space. The more CO2, the stronger that effect

Methane and water vapour are far more involved in climate change that Co2
Aveatry, methane is not a major factor in climate change.

Methane is highly reactive and because of that, methane oxidises quickly. The atmospheric lifetime of a molecule of methane is typically no more than 12 years. This is much shorter than the long atmospheric lifetime of CO2.

Due to that reactivity, the concentration of methane in the atmosphere is much smaller than that of CO2.

Aveatry I realise you maybe be sincere in your beliefs but they are misguided, climate science is complex and sadly that means that false claims can seem very plausible. I implore you to research further

I guess you either don’t understand the question or you don’t have an answer. Which is it?
So if you dont accept that you are a hypocrite then you are a magnitude worse than that because whilst at the same time of believing the CO2 nonsense you are actively contributing to it more than any other forum member with all of your unnecessary flights to go skiing.

The fact that I understand some of the science behind climate change and I question the morons that don’t, makes me a hypocrite?

How?

You do know that we are dangerously close the earth to not have enough CO2 to sustain plant life.

The ambient level of CO2 in the atmosphere is approximately 400 PPM. At 100 PPM of CO2 the rate of photosynthesis would be stopped completely. At 150 PPM the plants begin to respire, and photosynthesis is stopped. At this low level the plant will no longer be able to obtain CO2 from the atmosphere and photosynthesis is restricted. The plant will eventually use all of the CO2 present, photosynthesis will stop and the plant will die.

The rate of photosynthesis at 350 PPM will be consistent with growing conditions outside of a controlled environment, given that ambient levels of CO2 in the atmosphere are approximately 400 PPM.

With no other limiting factors such as heat, light and nutrients the plants will photosynthesize at a rate consistent with ambient conditions (i.e. outside of the greenhouse). There may be a slight increase in photosynthetic efficiency due to the higher than ambient CO2 level, however this increase will probably be insignificant. The level of 1000 PPM CO2 is very close to the optimum level of CO2 required, given no other limiting factor, 1200 PPM, to allow a plant to photosynthesis at the maximum rate.
Aveatry, this is an extract from an article talking about growing in greenhouses.

You are falsely trying to conflate that with conditions outside.

Unlike in the controlled environment of a greenhouse, the increasing greenhouse effect on Earth causes temperatures to rise and the climate to change in various ways that can be bad for plant life. We can’t control all the other variables the way we can in a greenhouse.

Where are you getting your info?
Aveatry has taken that from an article on greenhouse growing.

I doubt Aveatry got it from the original source, I expect Aveatry got it from a misinformation source possibly Twitter which has only provided a small quote from the article

I guarantee Aveatry won’t ever provide links……that’s the thing about conspiracy theorists: they accuse people of being sheep and believing MSM, but refuse to say where their own sources are.

Here’s the source article

What about the far left delusion? Equally as bad if not worse.
What is the far left delusion?

The far left believe public services should be publicly owned - is that a delusion?

The far left believe that minority groups should be supported not used as political footballs - is that a delusion?

The far left think that the state should provide a safety net to help those that are vulnerable: like the disabled -is that a delusion?

Don't be silly now.

Not just far left that believe public services should be publicly owned, so that's your first example dealt with.
The far left use minority groups as a political football just as much as far right and anyone between. So that's that one dealt with.
If you think it's just the far left that support a safety net for those genuinely in need, then I know who's deluded. Clue, it's not me ;)

Might have been worth mentioning that it's the far left who are pulling support from the most vulnerable in our society to support train drivers and and indeed other public sector employees.

Aveatry you're writing rubbish. Stop trolling.
I have no axe to grind.
No kids, and I will soon have finished with planet Earth..

Methane is a problem, It lurks for 10 years or so btw. Taken over a 100 year period its Global Warming Potential is 28x that of CO2.
Hence a very potent greenhouse gas. As oceans warm we're expecting vast amounts to be released from organic material. One of those tipping points, like albido.

GW is only one of the things which may kill the planet's infecting humans off, but its trajectory is indisputable.
However, when you have the likes of Xi expanding their coal fired power programme at pace, and the orange idiot talking of "clean coal", it doesn't make much sense for little old GB to change faster than the rest. We're more than a drop in the ocean, but only a cupful in a bath.

EVs are something of a red herring to yell about, cars producing only something like 10 -15% of emissions . Planes, big trucks, global shipping, industry, food production, power production, industry yada yada are harder to reduce.

Chayeena is short of oil which is why they're banging out EVs which use coal generated electricity. When they invade Taiwan - probably during Trump - they face problems getting tankers through the straights of Malacca if Trumpian boats get in the way. HK Shares in Mongolian Mining (coal) are up 2-3x in the last couple of years. In a dip now, should rise 40% when Chayeena gets its economy going again. Buy now make money, chinky chinky choke choke. (that's the money chinking...)
