A mahoosive night in San Francisco as the Seahawks fly down from Seattle in an attempt to beat the 'Niners, win the NFC West and grab the #1 seed for the play-offs. No pressure. A couple of seasons ago a similar matchup saw SF win with a legendary goal line block by Nick Bosa to win in Seattle as the Niners went on the the Superb Owl.

No Bosa this time around as he's injured but with Brock Purdy throwing dimes it's going to be a daunting task for Seattle - back-to-back five TD games and victorious in a death match struggle with the Bears lst week have been excellent preparation. SF by 7, although it may even come down to a FG in OT.

Since the 'Niners ballsed up and lost to the S.Hawks they now face a tricky trip across country to Philadelphia in the Wildcard game against the defending S.bowl champions. Nutz. Seattle can now put their feet up next weekend and await their opponents. Denver clinched the #1 seed in the AFC and it's anyone's guess who'll make the trip to LXI in LA, home of the Rams, who travel to Charlotte to face a mercurial Panthers team who might surprise the 2022 winners. Then again, they probably won't.

Chicago host Green Bay who usually beat the Bears but this season it may be a different challenge altogether for the Pack', struggling with injuries and wobbly form. Buffalo have to make a journey to Jacksonville who've been flying in recent weeks, posting their best season in years, winning their first div. title since '22. Tough one to call, and they may upset the Bills to break their hearts in another lost season for finally overcoming their Superbowl curse.

The Patriots should have more than enough to swat the Chargers aside and have a real shot at another Championship with a resurgent mvp candidate, Drake Maye controlling their offense. Pittsburgh squeaked in by the skin of a missed FG over the Ravens and face the Texans with a homefield chance of a divisional matchup that nobody expected. Still, they did win a S.bowl after a 9-8 season so anything's possible after a weird season when the Chiefs imploded without Mahomes to guide them into a post-season surge to another S.bowl.

I've no idea who will win the Lombardi trophy as several teams will fancy their chances this year, so i'll take a punt on a Bronco's vs Patriots final, with the Bears or Seahawks having a major say in the matter. They say a good offense will win a game but a great defense will win a championship but even though the Texans have the #1 ranked D. in the NFL, i can't see their q.b having the nerve to take them all the way.
