Exposing your angry and offensive abuse isn't an addiction, it's simply a case of making you aware that your typical behaviour is unacceptable.
Just like seeing someone misbehaving with angry and offensive abuse in real life. One is obliged to confront such behaviour.
Because you are an anonymous person on social media doesn't excuse your behaviour nor make it any less abhorrent. It simply allows you to get away with it without serious repercussions. So you exploit the opportunity to do so.

Of course, everyone wants to find a quick solution to any problem.
Whether anyone is listening or not depends on the seriousness of the problem.
If UK trigger article 16, the fishing problem will fade into diminishing concern.
But the French may still take their threatened actions because the issue will be between France and UK, not EU and UK.
