Donald Trump, the President of the USA, made a powerful speech on Saturday. Not widely reported by our loony left media of course. He deals with the Ukraine question; US jobs, the Afghanistan withdrawal and the rigged election. As Donald rightly says, if those election riggers hadn't done what they did, Russia wouldn't be invading Ukraine now.

Some highlights:

Comparing today's situation with that of a year ago: "We had the most secure borders, record low gas prices, energy independence, fast economic recovery, an unrivalled military and peace and quiet around the world. Now inflation is the highest in 40 years, record high oil prices, supply chains crumbling, China threatens Taiwan and Russia decimating Ukraine, Iran on the cusp of a nuclear bomb, ‘our great American military humiliated in its surrender from Afghanistan’ and a potential major war in Europe".

On Putin: "The real problem is not that Putin is smart, but that our leaders are dumb".

There's much more. He is back.

That would appear to be exactly what Putin and Xi Jinping thought, and seized the opportunity his departure gave them.
Trump hated Ukraine, Fox news sided with Putin to start with. Why do you think Trump would have done anything but cheer?

Shall we try and stick with facts?
Remember this?
Well before extorting Zelensky, Trump alarmed officials by freezing military aid to Ukraine that Congress had appropriated, but without meaningful policy justification. Crucially, officials subsequently testified that granting this aid was important in dissuading Russian aggression, which would be in European and U.S. interests.
