The mother of all Scalextric's

Is certainly is faster than Scalextric, but what actually is the point of that set? :?

Put car on track, press the button to make the car go as fast as possible (ether 0% or 100% with no attempt of adjusting the power to skill the corners). If cars come off track have mates put it back on or stop the race for the same reason. Carry on until someone seems to have won in spite of no appreciable effort other than the initial design/manufacture of the vehicle.

Literally seconds of endless fun

To be fair, I have the same thought regarding the 'slower' version. I just never saw the point in Scalextric. I got 'TCR - Total Control Racing' one Christmas. Not sure they produce it now. :( The tracks were slot less. You could change lanes at any point in a race. A much greater sensitivity was required in the corners due to the car not being anchored in a slot as is the case with Scalextric.

I'm up and down the M5/M42 a fair bit and thats better than any scaleetrix's.
