The fact remaiins that elderly people are draining the NHS.

That's where the biggest part of the budget goes.

It simply cannot continue.

What do you suggest. Euthanasia

Yes. I hope that my end is quick and clean and not slow and obscene.

When my life has lost it's quality, I don't want it's quantity.

Are you sure about that?

What about people who don't look after their health eg; drinker and smoker etc :?:

That's what I heared on the TV the other day.

The smoker and drinker at least contribute through their taxes.

Walk around a hospital and see how many oldies there are.

They get their prescriptions by the carrier bag full.

What about the war hero and that's the reason some of us is here today because of them and they also paid their taxes as well :!:

What war hero? What's his name?

joe

You know what I mean, some of us wouldn't be here if it wouldn't be for the war veterans fighting for this country.

Whilst they are active and have a good quality of life it isn't an issue. I'm referring to those that have altzeimers and demetia that poo their pants day and night; who sit there and slaver sinking further and further down in the chair until someone comes along and pulls them back up.

I'm sure you know what I mean?

Doesn't sound like a very nice company to work for, I'd have told 'em to poke it. :D
Yeah I agree, I did tell them to poke it in the end.

Voluntary then, not compulsory.

If you don't smoke or drink then you don't pay the duty that contibutes to the health problems they encounter.

I feel exactly the same. I watched my Grandmother die like this and it was horrible. She wasn't a burden to the state though or anyone else, she was well looked after by her family.

The worst parts are when they get a lucid moment and realise that something horrible is happening to them

Saying that, if I am dying in agony I would rather someone put me out of my misery. I wholeheartedly believe in and support voluntary euthanasia and am considering writing a 'living will', just in case.

Hmmm, I didn't see like that, then again everything is taxable
