The Shower is Clogged

Got a bit of a problem with a blocked shower – checked the head for debris – nothing, the drain also has an inside part that I know can sometimes collect hear ect but again its clear...any advice?

Maybe hair in the trap, have you checked the trap?
If you cant get to it, bend a piece of wire (make small hook on the end) put it down the plug hole & twist, it should collect the hair.

Check that something dripping has not caused build up of ice somewhere outside the house, blocking the outflow.

Have you got somebody with long hair who uses the shower? If the waste pipe from the shower runs very far and flat across a room to the outside, it could be choked all along its length with hair and scum. Guess how I know? The most likely place is where the trap joins the waste pipe, which means you will need to find a way to access this part of the pipework. Is it accessible under the shower plinth?

No not another freeze issue (I think)

What makes things worse is that I am unable to get behind the unite as a shoddy job has been implemented to the fixing...nightmare! I’ll check the waste pipe...cheers chaps!
