Boris has already said that Scotland will not get another referendum whilst he is PM. Another 4 years to wait for the next general election, by which time Brexit will be history and the Scots will realise how a good move it was.

Oil is a dying business in the North sea, it's far to expensive to extract and the cost per barrel isn't high enough.

With the invent if rules towards electric vehicles this has made the future of North sea oil even bleaker.

Although the world still needs oil for various items they will look at easier and cheaper ways to extract it.

They reckon North sea has another 20-30 years left till it's dead.
