Aqua he may have been told that part number but thats not the correct part number for the t/couple for his boiler. Its prob the t/couple part number for a mk2 fuelsaver that had interupter on the gas valve.

I think that you have correctly guessed that the OP has not correctly identified his own boiler!
 
Oh well, at least we know now that aquas non interrupter T/C would have got it going again. :LOL::eek:

I would have the system checked over to see what caused the overheat stat to trip in the first place.
eg: pump throughput, closed zone valves, closed bypass, pump overrrun, etc.
