The pilot light in my old Glow Worm Fuelsaver 25-30 won't stay on, so probably the thermocouple faulty. Unfortunately this boiler is obsolete and I cannot locate a thermocouple (part no. 412854). I wonder if anyone has one lying about?
The engineer that fits it will be able to source one
Jog on les. I'm inundated with the smell of bull ****.The engineer I called out could not source one, but said if I could he would fit it.
Any engineer will be able to source one for your boiler.
Me thinks there is no engineer and you are doing it yourself aren't you?
come on you're amongst friends you can tell us.

Then as said previously. Call a better engineer. I don't even have to look in my van. But I know I definately have a thermocouple for your boiler. If any engineer has one I will pay him to fit it!

There is an engineer and he could not source the thermocouple. I had a quick google and thought I could but the part is obsolete as well as the boiler. That is why I am asking if anyone has the thermocouple "lying" around. If any engineer has one I will pay him to fit it!
Have just checked my garage and I have 8 in there that will fit your boiler.
Seeing as they are obsolete now I suppose I could let one go for £34.99 plus postage if you wanted.
Better see if I can track some more down and stock up

I have a second engineer coming to quote me for a new boiler, I will ask him.
Post up your location les. I'm sure there will be engineers happy to change the thermocouple for you on here if you are near them

100% on the level. My number is in my profile. Get your RGI to call me with his gas safe number and I will post out to him as soon as payment is cleared.
