This poor refugee has come for a better life.

Is there possibles Labour extreme right?

Sometimes, it's just simpler to say who you identify with. I am very much in the Keir Starmer and Tony Blair part of the spectrum. Jeremy Corbyn was too left wing for me. So, I'm always interested in whether those on the right see themselves favouring, say, David Cameron or Suella Braverman or Lee Anderson. (It's not much use to favour Boris Johnson because he didn't really have any clear positions!)

Tony Blair is more right wing than anybody in the current government. Sir Kneel is more left wing.

So... unclear what it is you think you are, and amusing that you've observed Boris as lacking clarity. I mean, he does lack that, but so do you.

Your reference points are these politicians who don't really stand for anything in particular. They are just people, and generally lousy ones. Every single one you have mentioned having, at the very least, a personality disorder leaning towards narcissism.

They are not political philosophers. More personalities. As they say, politics is show biz for ugly people. It's like watching Big Brother or some other reality TV garbage and having a preferred person.

In this case, all wrapped up in the branding of a political party. Except, instead of a chocolate bar, the wrapper covers something else.

Is this the level you're on?

Maggie T said it doesn't much matter who runs the country. She was largely right.
Starmer's a decent bloke, he'll do. Rishi's not as bad as Boris, but too many in his party are hideously beyond the pale. There may be similar in Labour - of course we don't see them as much. I'm sure I'd find the far left like JC to be repulsive. I have some far right opinions, like I wouldn't allow train drivers to strike, They alrady earn plenty for what they do. See poor people better off. Consider a wealth tax, not sure how that would work.
Absentee fathers ar getting it too easy, again.
I'd like to take many utilities back into public ownership, with some sort of mechanism to keep them efficient. Not sure if any of the current models work well enough.
Post office would get a levy from other delivery companies who don't have to cover the country.
Schools would arrange breakfasts clubs, homework clubs, and I want integration on childcare to get more women the choice to work.
Carers in families etc need a much fairer deal. They save the country a fortune.
Stricter discipline in schools, parents to bear more responsibilities.
All aspects of power, ports & airports to be British again.
Stricter regulation of MPs and police.
Push the sodding boats back to the French beaches then sink them, until they don't even try. Start a respectable immigration system, based largely on Ozzie style points if we can. (tough) Try to work with Europe to make it all fairer, with quotas. When quota exceeded, sorry, return migrants to their respective country.
We should take refugees, we take a small number now, but nobody can take unlimited numbers.
Build a lot of houses.

Build specialist technical universities , encourage the very brightest. Take foreigners except Chinese and charge them a fortune.
Push new technologies and monetize them.
Return many roads to 30mph (from 20), with cameras and instant speeding fines.
All cars to have cameras and trackers, very hard for sctrotes to overcome. Any car without a tracker gets pulled over.
Car thieves lose their driving license. Van thieves go to prison.
Build (stock & forex) trading centres - we could make as much money as we wanted, with the right systems.

String up those post office managers.....
That'll do for now.

..

Would placing the word 'ex' or 'former' in front of the word refugee to describe those that come to this country and commit criminal acts make you feel any better about the facts of the description?
Most reasonable folk deplore any criminal acts. Whereas other folk seek to glorify liars grifters and swindlers. Funny old world, innit.
