tighen valve on heated towel rail

Hi

I am fitting a heated towel rail in my bathroom but don't have the right tool to tighen the valve insert bit into the radiator. it looks like i need a large allen key to tighen it up. Does anyone know the size allen key that is needed?

if you go to a plumbers merchant and ask for a rad valve spanner/ key they will oblige. Its about 14 - 16mm about £2+ for a cheapo

The tool Kev shows is the right one, but any 12mm allen key will do, you can also buy a 12mm hex bit from most cars spare shops to fit a normal socket set.

alternatively swap the rad valve for one that has a square rad tail so it can be tightened with a spanner, just a suggestion....
