I want to swap the radiator in bathroom with a heated towel rail and want to know if there is anything else I need to consider.

The pipe center is the same so I'm assuming I can just change the valves and put the towel rail on. I have a combi boiler and assume I will have to drain the system to change the valves.

Is it as straight forward as that - draining the system, changing the valves, fixing the towel rail on and refilling the system?

Many thanks...

Hopefully it is, as that is all I did. Depending on how much you are draining the system, and how many new devices you are putting in (I did 3 towel rails, 2 radiator changes in one go), you might want to consider a cleansing solution, and then later a protecting solution (after another flush of the system).

the chances are the valve connections on the towel rail exit at the bottom.
your rad has connections at the side.
can you see what i'm getting at ?
