Marley eternit is the manufacturers name.
It's a marley plain tile.

They merged the names in 2005 and are now marley eternit.
Infact a quick Google Marshalls then bought marley over.

The tiles are of the correct type .
The concrete tile and halves look newer than the main roof tiles.
I've a suspicion the verge is on a brick gable with no barge .
Over time the main roof area will settle leaving the verge where it was. Hence the spacing . They have obviously slipped out of course to.
