tile to worktop sealing tips?

i have to seal between the tiles and the worktop in the kitchen and have bought a tube of white mould resistant kitchen sealer for this very job.

the tiles were sat on 2mm tile spacers to allow for any movement of the worktop.

are there any tips to doing a decent job as I'd hate to make a mess now it's nearly done..
do those little sealant tools help at all ( looks like a little round corner squeegie thing )

I bought a Fugi kit last year when doing my en-suite.

Great bit of kit which makes the job look like it was done by somebody who knew what they were doing!
