Hi all,
Recently fitted a new kitchen and have now been asked if I will go back and tile. Upon further inspection one area of the wall is in poor condition and would take an awful lot of patching due to loose plaster and holes where sockets have been moved. It is only one wall and the other walls would be ok to tile.
Would I be able to dab some plasterboard on and then tile straight onto this (would the board carry the tiles)? It is only the area from the worktop up to the underside of the wall units and extract fan. I would not need to dab above the units as they go from one corner of the wall completely to the other with no gaps as there is an infill panel. It would simply be the aea between the unerside of cabinets and the worktops.....approx 3m long by 500mm high.
Thanks.
