Hi

I am just fitting a new bathroom. Bath, seperate shower, WC and sink built into white units. Floor will be beige travetine tiles. What in your opinions is gonna look best - completely tile all the walls up to the ceiling? Or plaster and paint the walls with no appliences and tile the rest? Tile fully around the bath or tile halfway up and paint the rest?

Any opionion on what tiles will look best with the white units and large travetine floor tiles?

It's not a huge bathroom - about 2.5 by 2.5m

Cheers

Andy

I like full tiling as its another room not to decorate.
As far as tile choice, how long is the string, you can always go & get sample tiles & tape them to the wall to get an idea of what it will look like.
I think floor to ceiling is good unless you finish it 1/2 way up with a proper border or trim.
You may get 100 different ideas.

if you fancy the tiling all the way, you could have 2 different colours and a border to split, top and bottom not side to side  i think these are always the better looking bathrooms. my personal opinion.

go to some bathroom showrooms and get some ideas - it's all about personal preference unless you are intending to sell the property in the short term.
