Hi all

Will be fitting a 900mm quadrant shower next week and will be tiling after I fit the tray and before fitting the enclosure. Only tiling the shower area.

Do I just start by sitting the tiling off the tray, or do the end tiles need to be cut into "L" shapes and go down the side of the tray as well?

Thanks in advance

You plan the layout of the tiles to prevent unsightly slithers or narrow cuts.
so set out by measuring the centre points of the area to be tiled, then workout whether the centre tiles are going to be a full or half tile, this measurement would include the grout line. Once you have worked out this, then measure where the last but one row of tiles will be above tray, batten out and tile up and out. Once set tile bottom row, no need to cut L shaped tile around tray, unless your really want to.
