Tilting Fillet

It's usually the same size as the battens for the other tiles.
The bottom of the eaves tile is usually supported off the fascia board.

The height you need the fillet at, will depend on the pitch of the roof.

Its the depth of a tile and batten, and its roughly the same as a 38mm tile batten on edge at the end of the rafters

Don't rest tiles on the fascia board as that is not what it is for, is bad practice, and makes replacement fascia work harder.

Either add fillets to each rafter or put a tile lath behind the fascia board

There should be a tilt fillet behind the facia to prevent the underlay slumping behind it unless you use a purpose made support tray which is the best solution at eaves level.

There will be no fascia. The tiled pitched roof, will lead onto a new flat roof extension. (High level flat roof with no upstands)
