Has anyone a pattern for Parquet flooring? I know it sounds silly but I fancy having the edging and the diagonal pattern that I'm sure will involve lots of cutting.

Is this easy or difficult anyone?

And Bitumen.. what's that all about?

How many patterns do you want? (You haven't put an email address in you profile, if you do I can mail you lots of them ;))

It's easy, if you take your time and sufficient preparations, but is does take time and some (DIY)skill (plus the use of the correct tools of course). We don't do many of them, but I still think it's the most satisfying end result in all the flooring types when it's finished.

Bitumen = old (and nowadays almost forbidden) type of adhesive. If any residue left on old blocks or underfloor the modern adhesive will take much longer to bond everything together.

Hope this helps.
