Our main toilet is about 5 years old and was installed by the previous owner. This morning after one family member had deposited their matter in the toilet and flushed; the water rose almost to the top of the toilet bowl. I just rolled up my sleeve and put my arm in to give the matter a little push. Fortunately it worked immediately but the opening to the waste pipe seems very narrow. I assume that nothing can be done about it apart from installing a different type of toilet. Thanks in advance for any answers.
